Who Are Mali

Mali started off as a social impact project by Jonas Koblin, father of three and founder of Sprouts Learning—and a group of passionate software developers, editors, creatives. 

In collaboration with esteemed medical professionals, such as Med. Dr. Piyawut Kreetapirom (MedPark), OB/GYN Wanwadee Sapmee Panyakat (Perinatologist, at Chao Phraya Hospital) and Dr. Vorachai Chuenchompoonut (MedPark), and supported by the National Innovation Agency (NIA), the first version of the Mali app was launched on Mothers Day, 2018.

Today multiple Mali apps, websites, and communities to help new families in Thailand have a saver, and more informed journey to parenting starting from family planning until their baby turns two. To ensure that the app can remain free of charge, Mali works with Thailand’s leading brands for nutrican, insurance, health and education. 

As of June 14, 2024, the Mali app has been downloaded over 250,000 times, has a rating of 4.9 with over 10,000 reviews and ranks top 3 on the Thai medical iOS app charts.
