Apple Bobbing
A Halloween classic! Fill a big basin or bucket with water and float small apples inside. Kids must try to catch an apple using only their mouths, no hands allowed! Expect splashes, squeals, and lots of laughter.
Pumpkin Bowling
Use empty bottles or cardboard tubes as bowling pins and draw spooky faces on them. Then roll a small pumpkin to see who can knock down the most pins. Strike!
Mummy Wrap Relay
Split the group into teams and give each one a roll of toilet paper. One “mummy” per team gets wrapped from head to toe, then tries to shuffle to the finish line. First mummy across wins, without unravelling!
Pin the Hat on the Witch
A Halloween version of “Pin the Tail on the Donkey.” Blindfold each child and see who can place the hat closest to the witch’s head. Perfect for all ages.
Musical Zombies
Play some spooky tunes while the kids walk or dance around. When the music stops, everyone freezes like a zombie statue! Anyone who moves is out until only one zombie remains.
Spider Web Obstacle Course
Use string or crepe paper to create a “web” across a hallway. Kids must carefully crawl or step through without breaking the web. Fastest careful crawler wins!
Ghost Hunt
Hide small paper ghosts or ghost-shaped treats around the party area, indoors or outdoors. Kids go on a mini scavenger hunt to collect as many as they can. Simple and super fun.
Pumpkin Ring Toss
Place mini pumpkins on the floor (stems facing up). Kids toss glow stick rings or small hoops and try to land them on the stems. Great for practising aim!
Eyeball Spoon Race
Draw eyeballs on ping-pong balls or use Halloween toy eyeballs. Kids balance them on spoons and race to the finish line, drop them, and you start again!
Spider Races
Give each child a plastic spider and a straw. They have to blow through the straw to race their spider across a table. First spider to the finish line wins!
